The Bond Night was a massive success!

The event was very well attended by members of Wychwood and the wider community, along with former members of the Gorstyhill Golf Club. Thanks to all of those people who made donations and to those who came and supported this event on the night – you have helped to raise over £3k to support our fight against the proposed development!

We would like to mention a special thanks to De Vere and Karen Delay for negotiating the room for free, also a big thank you to the Crockett family for providing the impressive collection of Aston Martins parked outside the Claret Jug (sorry about the lights!), combined with our appreciation to Neil O’Callaghan for providing the Ferrari in the Aston sandwich!

A massive thank you to GB Fun Casinos from Stoke who provided the props and roulette tables where virtual fortunes were made…and lost – if anyone would like to use them you can contact Paul Thomas on 07910 374078.

Also a huge thank you to our very own resident DJ Mark Kennedy, brilliant job Mark!

Thanks to all of our very generous supporters who donated the brilliant items for auction. These donations included:

4 x fantastic tickets to see Jason Manford live at the Phones4U Arena
2 x awesome tickets for the Global Gathering with VIP access
2 x superb Ministry Of Sound tickets with VIP access all areas
An amazing driving experience in a Ferrari F430
A fabulous 4 ball at any Marriot golf venue
A unique Moorcroft china vase signed by a member of the Antiques Roadshow team, plus membership
A stylish set of Titanium cuff links supplied by Moody Jewellers in Nantwich
Plus many more…

Congratulations to all of our generous bidders and thank you!! Please can the winners arrange for payment to be handed over to Paul Burt at 16 Pastures Drive, Wychwood Village, as soon as possible.

Don’t forget that we also have £500 worth of Nursery fees from Townhouse Nursery that can be taken in Alsager, Trafford Park or Warrington.
